Hello Marco,
I have just managed to have a start at reading the 30 Powerful Ancient Christian Prayers. It is wonderful and it really helps in keeping myself connected with faith and God. I find the prayers of the early Church really wonderful, of immeasurable beauty. As an Orthodox Christian I have always been in love with prayers written by Saints, which cannot be compared to my own creations in speaking to God. They are a testimony of holiness and Holy Spirit work in their lives and I am always amazed at their beauty and wisdom, not to mention the practical side of knowing what to ask for when reading it.
With this book of prayer, I have enlarged my prayers collection, and I feel really happy about it
Early Church spirituality is one of my favourite subjects and it is keeping me strong in believing and loving Orthodoxy as a faith that continued the Apostolic Church work and its Tradition. The Fathers of the first five centuries of Christianity are a real treasure one shouldn’t stay apart from and a historical testimony of faith in God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, and they nowadays represent a means for keeping peoples of the world and local churches united under the seal of love we have been blessed with through them,
